Butter chicken

Butter chicken recipe
Cut boneless chicken into tiny cubes and marinate with tandoori masala g&g yoghurt(optional) 
Place in over on 375 for 20 mins broil for 4-5 mins

Heat oil sauté g&g add tomato paste sauté next add chilli pwd sauté add cooked chicken and add heavy creamy

Bhindi masala

Bhindi Recipe...
Cut bhindi big size
Saute in Lil oil..
Keep aside
In oil....as rain...add onion, garlic paste....and fry for Lil bit...add haldi, mirch powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala and chopped tomato
Fry for Lil bit...add bhindi, and amchoor powder (optional) and cover and let it cook
That's all...

Jackfruit curry

Jackfruit curry
Oil, jeera, chopped onion (Lot of onion) , ginger garlic paste, fry for sometime....add haldi, red chilli powder, garam masala, chopped tomato...add peeled and cut potato, and fry for some time....add young jackfruit and fry for sometime....and pressure cook...2 whistle...with salt....Lil water...done..garnish with fresh coriander
Onion is the key thing girls.... :) rest is very easy

Chicken curry

Oil jeera rai haldi, onions, roast till onions are brown
Add ginger garlic and corriander leaves to chk
Add chk to onions and cook till chk is half cooked
Add masala and salt and cook till chl is done. Voila!!

Trifle pudding

It's trifle pudding- best part is u can add/delete anything u want or arrange in any order u want; what I put that day- bottom layer cake, on top jello layer, then pudding layer, then fruit layer, repeat all again and top of with whipped cream

Chicken curry - andhra style

Chicken curry recipe :
Marinate 1 chicken with the following ingredients

2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon ground pepper 
3 teaspoon freshly made ginger garlic paste
1 and half teaspoon of salt 

You need atleast 4 table spoons of oil put some zeera  one big cut onion in a pan and sauté untill golden brown put chicken in it and let it cook for 15 min then add a small glass of water cover and cook it on low medium flame for another 20 to 25 mins . I put weight on the lid this will make chicken tender and also gives that dum Ka  murg flavor.
2 min Before turning the stove off  add 2 teaspoons  of coriander powder it includes 2 eliches  and  very little cinnamon powder in it . Add freshly chopped cilantro  and it is ready to eat :)

Dudhi subji

Priyas dudhi recipe

Onion cut in long and thin
Golden brown
Add doodhi cut in big chunks
Aaloo cut kiya hua
Haldi  Salt, red chilli powder
Garam masala
Tomato chopped
And bhoona for 5 min
Pressure cook 1 whistle
Add coriander one stream is out....

Mirchi ka salaam

Deepika's mirchi ka Salan recipe: GM Gayatri 
Mrich Ka saalan ingredients

15 chills
1 big onion cut it in big pieces and sauté in 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon full ginger gRlic paste
1/2 lemon size tamrid soak it in water 
1/2 teaspoon salt or according to taste
3 tablespoons of roasted til powder

Slit chillies and take the seeds out with a teaspoon end and boil them in water for 5 to 8 min. Drain them and keep on he side. Now add all the ingredients except chillis in a mixer and make it into fine paste . 

In a pan add 5 to 7 tablespoons of oil and fry the masala you made in the mixer do 5 mins and add chillies to it leave it for 5 min. Add 1/2 glass of water cover the dish and let it cook for 15 mins in slow flame. Untill chilles are tender.

Shrimp curry

Shrimp curry with coconut milk
Heat oil add bay leaf, cinnamon stick and sliced onion sauté, add sliced tomato sauté add shrimp, haldi, chilli pwd, dhaniya pwd, jeera pwd sauté
Then add coconut milk and boil
Add sliced green chilli
While boiling I add kokum
U can add tamarind paste or lemon juice ... Depends on what sourness u like
Salt to taste
When I clean shrimp I marinate in g&g

Malpua

Hard malpua recipe:
1 cup grated pumpkin
1 cup jaggery
1tablespoon ghee

Mix in a pan and let cook. Wait for the pumpkin to start leaving water and then cook till most of the water is gone.

Next take 1/2  cup wheat flour, 1/4 cup besan, 1/4 cup rice flour, 1/4 cup maida. 

Mix flours into the cooked pumpkin mixture and form dough. May need to add extra flour if excessive water was left while cooking pumpkin. 

Coat with oil and let stand for few mins. 

Shape puri and fry
Can also make paratha with same dough. For calorie conscious people

Aloo subji

Aloo sabzi recipe
Boil potatoes and let it cool a lite bit. Peel it and break using your hands(don't cut using knife). Take oil and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it. You can add onion and green chilli to it. Add turmeric, dhaniya powder, dry red chilli, salt and garam masala to it. Add potatoes to it and add little water to it. Pour some fresh cut cilantro and dry kasoori methi to it. Done. 😊
Girls, missed one of the main ingredients for potato curry.. After adding green chilli, please add lot of crushed tomatoes and let it cook for good 10-15 min on slow

Shahi paneer

Shahi paneer recipe
Cut and sauté in oil onion, garlic and ginger.. Add crushed tomatoes to it and fry little more. Let it cool down a little bit and then put the mixture in food processor and grind. Take oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, red dry chilli. Add the grinded mix earlier to it and add turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala and one of the shahi paneer masala if you have one. After a little while, add little half and half and little butter to it. In a separate pan, sauté cut pepper and onion and add to above mixture. Let it cook for 5 min and put aside. Take a little oil, add cloves, dry red chilli and tej patta to it and our over the curry prepared earlier. Done 😊

Gobi paratha

Grate Gobhi, add grated ginger, chopped coriander, ajwain, the black seed, red chilli powder

Fill in wheat floor dough and then salt

Maida paratha

Knead maida wheat yeast, oil and salt
Let it ferment
Make filling.....Lil onion, ginger, garlic, salt, red chilli, keema masala our garam masala...whatever taste you like...add keema cook so that all water dries

Pesto

Pesto recipe
1 bunch basil leaves, quarter cup pine nuts, quarter cup olive oil, quarter cup cheese, 
Grind basil leaves, Pine nuts and cheese without oil first, then add oil little at a time and grind with oil

To use, sauté garlic and onions, add pesto paste and a little bit of whipping cream or milk and simmer it for a little bit and add cooked pasta and veggies

Meat ball curry

Meat ball curry
Ground chicken add chopped onion g&g coriander leaves chopped yoghurt salt dhaniya jeera pwd haldi chilli pwd... Heat oil add whole garam masala add chopped onion brown, g&g sauté then add tomatoes chopped sauté once done add yoghurt sauté, add haldi chilli pwd dhaniya jeera pwd sauté then add garam masala sauté add water and boil... When bubbling make balls of ground chicken and add to gravy cover and cook for 15-20 mins add fresh dhaniya and serve with rice...
This is how I made it today... As a variation I don't add tomatoes... Tastes a bit different but still good

Chilli paneer

Chilli..any kind....batter..cornstarch..ginger garlic paste,  pepper powder....water, salt..dip Paneer and deep fry
Gravy dry style....
Saute ginger garlic, sliced onion, bell Pepper, spring onion....add ketchup, vinegar, chilli sauce, soy sauce, salt , black pepper powder
Add fried paneer
Serve Hot and invite your friends

Quinoa salad

Quinoa salad
Boil quinoa separately heat oil add garlic chopped sauté sesame seeds toast add onion and tomato when half cooked turn gas off... Add quinoa, meat, cucumber the above sautéed lemon juice sugar soy sauce

Marinated for 4-5 hrs
Place on cedar plank and cook on the grill

Sweet chutney

Sugar water....make it thick...add Tamarind paste....salt, black salt (kala namak) , bhoona jeera powder (thisbrings the taste) lal mirch powder....
Trick is to leave it Lil thin...when it colds it becomes tight....
Add this chutney to Golgappa, chaat, dahi vada....and whatever you can think of

Chakli

Chakli recipe: 
2 cups rice flour, 1 cup maida, 1/2 cup softened butter, 2 tbl spoon  sesame seeds,salt, mommy masala to taste. Knead to form dough. Press into shape and deep fry
U can substitute aai masala with chili powder, jeera and cilantro seed powder

Dal makhni

Dal makhni recipe:
I cup daal, few red kidney beans.. Soak both for few hours and boil in cooker with salt
Take oil, add tej patta, Badi elaichi, crushed choti elaichi, crushed ginger garlic onion green chilli to it and cook well . Add crushed tomatoes and cook more.. Add dhaniya, garam masala, red chilli 
Add boiled daal to it and let it cook for half an hour.. Add half and half to it and little milk to it and let it cook for another hour or so on low flame.. Add fresh cilantro when done

Sour cream shrikhand

Sour cream ahrikhand recipe
1 large can sour cream, 1 cup sugar , cardamom powder, crushed nuts. Mix well and serve cold. Trick is to take a spoon full of sour cream out of can the nite before and discard water the next morning

Broccoli stir fry

Broccoli stir fry
Heat oil add lots of chopped garlic sauté then add broccoli crushed red chilli and sauté for a few mins don't over cook broccoli

Soup and stir fry

Lentil + cut veggies of your choice + tomato+ pressure Cook
Salt
Optional...put tarka with jeera, ginger garlic chopped, chopped onion, tomato and add
Garam masala optional
Stir fry veggie...sliced onion, bell pepper,  carrot, cabbage, French cut beans....in Pan ...add very Lil oil....add onion..and then all veggies....add salt and pepper...optional corn and tofu if you want

Zunka

Zunka recipe:

Make thin batter of besan, water, salt to taste, one tbl oil. Take oil in pan add jeera, rai, hing, haldi. Then add lots of chopped garlic and chopped onions. Add chopped spring onions and add the besan batter. 

Stir constantly to minimize lumps. Cover and let it steam for couple mins. Stir then cover again and steam for few more mins. Add cut cilantro and serve hot.
Add lal mirchi powder right after u add cut spring onions. Forgot that step.

Kheema

Kheema recipe
Heat oil add hing g&g  kheema haldi red chilli pwd green chilli cook till kheema is seperate then add sliced onion cook till meat is dry then add garam masala and peas cook till peas r cooked add chopped coriander eat with hot chapati


Put oil in pan, add jeera, haldi hing chopped onions
Let it cook, then add gihnher garlic paste. Add chopped capsicum and ground meat, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and cook
U can put aai masala instead of chilli powder and gram masala

CAramel custard

Caramel custard

Ingredients 
1-1/2 cups sugar, divided 
6 Eggs 
3 cups whole milk 
2 teaspoons vanilla extract 

Directions 
1. In a large heavy saucepan, cook and stir 3/4 cup sugar over low heat until sugar is melted and golden. 
    Pour into eight 6-oz. custard cups, tilting to coat bottom of cup; let stand for 10 minutes. 
2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining sugar until combined but not foamy. Pour over caramelized sugar. 
3. Place the cups in two 8-in. square baking pans. Pour boiling water in pans to a depth of 1 in. 
4. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Remove from pans to cool. Refrigerate and serve cold.
