Namaste! We are a bunch of fun loving foodies of Indian origin, who live on a street whose name starts with Royal. Hence the name Royal Desi Kitchen. Our passion for good food and cooking has bonded us together forever and we would love to share the same passion with all of you.
A brief introduction of the members:
GG - Originally from Bangalore, India. Had no interest in cooking growing up, but in the past 10 years her interest and love for food and cooking has skyrocketed. She enjoys all vegetarian cooking and selectively likes spicy non-veg food. Her specialties are a mix and match of dishes from all over.
SK - Originally from Bombay, India. She is the Indian Rachel Ray of the group who can whip up 3 course meals in a jiffy! She is our own inspiration and loves to cook all foods. She particularly likes non-veg and loves to cook with a glass of wine on the side.
PS - Originally from Bihar, India. She is close in competition to SK when it comes to speed of cooking and can cook yummy food in large quantities for large batches of people. Her specialities are all over as well and she has a good appetite for spicy food.
AM - Originally from Delhi, India. She is the north Indian queen of the group and her dal makhani is to die for! She likes to cook simple foods that are not too spicy.
KD - Originally from Pune, India. She is our namkeen queen and can cook all kinds of sweets and savories that are delicious. She also brings her maharashtrian cooking skills to the table.
